At Nevada Orofacial Pain, TMJ, and Sleep Clinic we believe in taking the time to truly understand your condition. Your initial consultation with Dr. Kim will be approximately 60 minutes. This dedicated time allows us to develop a complete picture of your health and create a personalized treatment plan.

Before Your Visit

Complete all paperwork and forms on your patient portal PRIOR to your appointment.

Make sure you bring the following items:

  • Credit Card(s)
  • Medical insurance
  • Any relevant medical records, imaging, or test results

    • Detailed head and neck muscle evaluation
    • Comprehensive TMJ examination

    • Review of imaging and medical reports
  3. Specialized Diagnostic Testing

    When necessary, we may recommend:

    • Trigger point evaluations
    • Diagnostic nerve blocks
    • Other specialized tests based on your symptoms
  4. Treatment Planning Session

    Dr. Kim will provide:

    • Clear explanation of findings and diagnoses
    • Comprehensive treatment options
    • Custom-tailored management plan
    • Necessary referral recommendations
    • Follow-up care schedule

Follow-Up Care

Subsequent appointments are typically half an hour and focus on implementing your treatment plan and monitoring your progress.

Legal Requirements

  • Minors (under 18): Must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with proof of guardianship
  • Guardianship: Please bring relevant legal documentation if you are not the parent
  • Power of Attorney: If applicable, bring documentation of medical power of attorney
